Jakub Žlábek

Kuba has been involved in sports karate (WKF) since he was 6 years old. His parent club is SKP Písek. He competes in the kata discipline. He has been a member of the Czech junior national team since he was 14 years old. He regularly participates in World Youth League tournaments, World Series A for adults (from 16 years old), international Open series competitions and has been nominated for the European Championship and World Championship five times. He is also the Czech champion and has been declared the most successful athlete of the Písek region three times. His ultimate goal is the 2032 Brisbane Olympics, where karate should return to the Olympic program.
